If a picture speaks a thousand words...would you trust this man?

Egerstrom / Jakobsson
Equality for Africa (EFA) would like to bring to your attention the person pictured and would advise extreme caution if you are an employee, perspective employee, client, perspective client or intend to have any deal or dealings, whether it be at individual, company, organisation, institution or government level. The person pictured uses two different names depending on where he is and who he is dealing with. The names which you should be aware of are Sven Tomas Egerstrom and Thomas Jakobsson, we are also aware that he has a passport in each of those names. This we find very strange considering the heightened security we all now experience in the uncertain world we now live in. As we are all aware, it has always been considered since the arrival of private maritime security companies, (PMSC’s) that they operate in the grey area bordering on criminal or illegal activity.

We at EFA have had brought to our attention, Egerstrom's dubious business practices, which include, bribery, corruption, fraud, blatant disregard for laws and regulations, failure to honour contracts, and above all, Racism and a lack of concern for the health and safety of his employees.

Egerstrom is the owner of a number of companies and part owner of several more. Some of the company’s he owns are Sea Marshals Risk Management, who he hides behind the facade of accreditation for the company. We find the accreditation of little or no value when they do not take into consideration the person who is running and in control of the company. Other companies controlled by him are Naval Guards, Land Marshals and others of which we will inform you in due course. Companies in which he claims to have a part ownership include Sovereign Global Solutions (SGS), a company with an enviable and impeccable reputation - indeed a large percentage of its business is with the United Nations.

So, we asked Mr. Bruno Pardigon, major shareholder of SGS, if Egerstrom was indeed a part owner of Sovereign Global Solutions. Mr. Pardigon immediately responded that, "Thomas Egerstom or Thomas Jackobson or whatever name you want to give him is NOT an owner or a shareholder of SGS. This can be checked in less than two minutes on the official website of Company House."

We have documentary proof that Egerstrom has falsely claimed to be a part owner of SGS and other maritime security services companies. We received a scan of a document that Egerstrom presented to the Cape Verde government to obtain a concession for a company called CVMSS to provide maritime security services in that country. Clearly, this document was presented under false pretenses since Mr. Pardigon has clearly stated that Egerstrom has no ownership whatsoever in SGS.

Over the course of the next couple of months, we will not only be discussing Egerstrom's dubious business practices, but to get a fuller picture of the true character of this man, we will look into his social life and social practices which include his panache for very young girls, whiskey drinking contests, prostitutes, and other debauchery. We will start at the present day and work backwards, thus enabling people to come forward and giving the EFA time to verify.

On Thursday, 12 February, 2015 we will bring to you information of a court case brought against Egerstrom in the Seychelles, by the Apostle of the Seas in defense of eight crew members he left stranded there. One of these crew members who hails from Cape Verde has not been paid for almost two years and has not seen his family in a similar length of time. We will go into this in more detail on Thursday as the EFA does not publish anything without documented and verified proof. This documentation will be published along with statements that the EFA makes on behalf of those looking for our assistance to bring Ergstrom's dubious practices to light.

The EFA believes that no matter what your race, creed or religion that everyone is equal, and as such, should be afforded the same respect and courtesy that you would expect for yourself. The EFA also believes that Egerstrom has also carried out dubious business practices in his home country of Sweden. It has also been brought to our attention that he was involved in the "asset stripping" of companies which undoubtedly caused many people to lose their jobs and the consequences that follow. If you are any of these people who have had dealings with Egerstrom in Sweden, we would like to hear from you as it may help others in the claims against Egerstrom. Indeed, we would ask anybody who has ever had dealings with Egerstrom, and were left regretting the day they ever heard or met the person, to please come forward.
